The River Mēmele, called the Nemunēle in Lithuania (Lithuanian: Nemunėlis), is a river in Lithuania and Latvia.
Its length is 191 km (40 km in Latvia), the drop is 97 m (0.5 m / km). The river starts in Lithuania near Rokiškis, downstream it flows for 76 km along the Latvian-Lithuanian border. In Bauska (below Bauska Castle Mound) meets the River Mūsa, forms the River Lielupe (right bank confluence).
The river is suitable for recreational trips for people with little boating experience all season, however, in the first half of summer (until Midsummer Night), it will be more enjoyable as the water grasses have not yet grown.
