The River Eglona, also (the Eglūna, the Eglaine), is the left bank tributary of the river Daugava. It starts near Aknīste at Dominieki.
The upstream is straightened and it is connected with the river Vilkupe through the Eglona-Susēja Channel. The river Eglona flows into the Daugava near the village of Dunava. The largest populated areas along its banks: Dunava, Tadenava.
In some places the trees fallen into the river may cause lifting the boat and carrying it along the bank to pass the blocked place.
